Sally Labruyere
Sally has been with Tryon Family Dentistry since it was a gleam in Dr. Haydt’s and Dr. Mann’s eyes. Sally has an extensive background in customer service with 16 years of retail experience. She was seeking a way out of working holidays, nights and weekends so she reached out to a team member whose husband works as an associate dentist at Dr. Mann’s actual office. After meeting Dr. Mann and his team she fell in love with dental insurance, dental terminology and became obsessed with her smile. After a year of volunteering, and a year of working part time at Dr. Mann’s office, she learned the ropes of dentistry to help lead the new practice of Tryon Family Dentistry. She enjoys getting to know all the current patients, and is looking forward to meeting the potential patients.
A native of the “Show Me” state, Missouri, Sally grew up playing tons of basketball and found a strong love for drawing. She is a graduate of McKendree University in Illinois, this is where she played basketball and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She became a transplant here in 1999 where she has taken full advantage of getting to know North Carolina better, from the hill top of Grandfather Mountain to the sand at Carolina Beach. She can tell you her favorite place to shop for shoes, as well as how to start the chant, “TAR”....”HEELS”, to cheer on Roy and his boys. Sally thoroughly enjoys finding new places to eat, (especially since she does not cook). She appreciates meeting and mingling with new people, so if you are ever in the office or out and about, make sure you stop and take a minute to say hello! |

 Samantha Oakes
Dental Assistant
Samantha has been working with Tryon Family Dentistry since January 2012. She attended East Carolina University and earned a BFA in Dance Performance. Upon completing her degree, she wanted to further her education and career goals by going into the dental profession. In September of 2011, Samantha attended Sunrise School of Dental Assisting where she obtained her certificate as a Dental Assistant I, X-ray certification, and CPR training.
Samantha enjoys meeting and working with her patients. She loves her ability to make a difference in people's lives by helping them transform their smiles. She gives patients the same care that she would give her family. She was born and raised in North Carolina and currently resides in Angier with her husband Robby and puppy Teddy. She enjoys crafts, walks with her puppy, and trips to the beach. |

 Chris Painter
Team Lead
Chris has been a member of the Tryon Family Dentistry team since November 2011. He is originally from Charlotte and has currently been living in Raleigh since 2007. Chris attended East Carolina University where he graduated with a degree in Public Relations, with a minor in Marketing. Before joining our team, Chris had a successful career in retail management. He managed several major retailers across the US, such as; Abercrombie & Fitch, J Crew, bloomingdale’s, Eddie Bauer and Ann Taylor. His experience in retail management allowed him to experience life in several cities across the country; including Seattle, Orlando and Atlanta. Since joining our team, Chris has adapted rather quickly to the dental field and really enjoys helping patients. |

 Danielle Bruner
Dental Hygienist
Danielle from Raleigh, North Carolina graduated from Central Carolina Community College May 2010, where she earned an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. While in attendance Danielle served as the class president. In addition,she was the recipient of several awards including the Colgate STAR award as well as scholarships awarded from the American Dental Hygiene Association in the spring of 2009 & 2010. She strives to stay abreast with the latest advances in technology by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars. Danielle feels privileged to work with this talented group of dental professionals at Tryon Family Dentistry. Her goal as a Registered Dental Hygienist is to create a bond and long lasting relationship with each patient to work with them toward optimal dental health. Danielle is a newlywed to husband Dan and now reside in the greater Pinehurst area. Danielle`s interest include shopping, gardening, and spending time at the beach. |

 Gloria Hardy
Dental Hygienist
Gloria joined Tryon Family Dentistry in July 2012. She is from Apex, NC and graduated from North Carolina State University in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nutrition Science. While attending NCSU, Gloria became interested in the field of dental hygiene and received her Associates of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, NC. There she served as president of the Student American Dental Hygiene Association and graduated with honors, as well as earned the Excellence in Academic Studies Award. She is excited to be a part of such a wonderful team at Tryon Family Dentistry and enjoys helping patients receive the best care possible to meet their oral health needs. Gloria enjoys trips to the beach, cooking and spending time on the lake skiing and wakeboarding. |
