Sally Labruyere
Sally has been with Tryon Family Dentistry since it was a gleam in Dr. Haydt’s and Dr. Mann’s eyes. Sally has an extensive background in customer service with 16 years of retail experience. She was seeking a way out of working holidays, nights and weekends so she reached out to a team member whose husband works as an associate dentist at Dr. Mann’s actual office. After meeting Dr. Mann and his team she fell in love with dental insurance, dental terminology and became obsessed with her smile. After a year of volunteering, and a year of working part time at Dr. Mann’s office, she learned the ropes of dentistry to help lead the new practice of Tryon Family Dentistry. She enjoys getting to know all the current patients, and is looking forward to meeting the potential patients soon!
A native of the “Show Me” state, Missouri, Sally grew up playing tons of basketball and found a strong love for drawing. She is a graduate of McKendree University in Illinois, this is where she played basketball and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She became a transplant here in 1999 where she has taken full advantage of getting to know North Carolina better, from the hill top of Grandfather Mountain to the sand at Carolina Beach. She can tell you her favorite place to shop for shoes, as well as how to start the chant, “TAR”....”HEELS”, to cheer on Roy and his boys. Sally thoroughly enjoys finding new places to eat, (especially since she does not cook). She appreciates meeting and mingling with new people, so if you are ever in the office or out and about, make sure you stop and take a minute to say hello! |
 Kari Bitikofer
Dental Assistant
Kari is originally from a small town in the foothills of VA. Although, she has lived in NC since she was 6 years old. She was homeschooled through her high school years then attended UNC-Chapel Hill for Dental Assisting. GO HEELS! In May 2010 she graduated UNC with her degree as a DAII and obtained her DANB x-ray certification, coronal polishing and CPR training. UNC has prepared her for various types of dentistry including restorative, oral surgery to orthodontics.
Kari has always had a passion for dentistry even when she was young. She enjoys meeting patients and especially working with children. She is very excited to be a part of the Tryon Family Dentistry team!
Kari currently resides in Cary. She enjoys being at the beach, fshing and spending time with her friends and family. She is a proud mother of a Maltese puppy named Bella who keeps her very busy! |
 Sara Garrell
Team Lead
Sara graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology. Upon graduation, Sara pursed a career in retail management for several years. During her journey she held various managerial roles for companies such as Victoria’s Secret and Ann Taylor. Sara’s background in customer service has helped her to flourish in the dental field. Helping others better themselves and ensuring patient satisfaction are her main focuses.
Sara’s family, and her two dogs, a cocker spaniel and lab mix, are a few of the joys in her life. She enjoys hunting, fishing, gardening, and running. Sara is a native of the North Carolina coast. In her spare time, she is either relaxing with family at the lake or helping out on the family farm. She looks forward to each day that she has the opportunity to learn and expand her knowledge in the dental field. |
 Angels Wilson
Patient Coordinator
Angela is starting with Tryon Family Dentistry as is opens its Garner location. Angela is a native of this area and has previously worked with the school system for the last 8 years. She graduated with a secretarial degree and since has worked earlier years at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys her two beautiful girls, Jessica 19 and Alex 16. She loves to shop, garden, cook, and play with her dog, Bella.
