Dr. Caitlin Hanley
Dr. Caitlin Hanley grew up in predominantly in Raleigh, NC and Rutland, VT. She attended Clemson University for undergrad where she majored in Biological Sciences and double minored in Microbiology and Psychology. She didn’t always know that she wanted to be a dentist, but was drawn to field because it is a perfect blend of art and science.
Dr. Hanley went to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC for dental school. While in Charleston, she was chosen to represent her school at a digital Dentistry conference in California, where she learned a lot about designing and milling same day crowns. She was Vice President of the American Dental Education Association, and was a member of the American Association of Women Dentists and the social/service chair for Psi Omega. In addition to this she was fortunate enough to go on many rotations, where she was able to immerse herself in communities in need. At graduation, she received a few awards, her favorite one being “excellence in removable dentistry,” which was given to her by her favorite attending/mentor.
Though she enjoyed the beautiful beaches and amazing food that Charleston has to offer, she always wanted to move back to the Raleigh area.
When she is not practicing, Dr. Hanley enjoys playing tennis and field hockey, loves trying new restaurants (if you have any recommendations let her know!), and enjoys spending time with her husband and mini bernedoodle, Clementine!

The Latest in Aligner Technology
What Is Invisalign?
Instead of relying on metal brackets and wires to move teeth, Invisalign uses clear plastic aligners custom designed for each patient’s individual treatment plan. The aligners are designed to fit snugly over your teeth so they don’t interfere with your normal activities or your speech. Because they are clear, they are hardly noticeable and provide the utmost discretion during treatment.
