Invisalign

Senior in high school was self conscious about her smile. Just a few months in Invisalign treatment and she was actually excited about her graduation pictures.

Invisalign

Clear Invisalign retainers can be used to close spacing between teeth. This patient was unhappy with the space between his two front teeth but did not want metal brackets. Using Invisalign we were able to close the spacing in a matter of months.

Invisalign

Invisalign is not only used for minor movements. This patient needed extensive shifting to straighten his bite and it was completed using Invisalign aligners.

Invisalign

Patients who have completed traditional braces and failed to wear retainers can have shifting of their teeth. These patients are great candidates for Invisalign, usually requiring minimal time to re-straighten smiles. We recommend patients have a permanent lower retainer placed on the inside of their teeth to prevent this shifting to reoccur.

Invisalign

Discrepancies between how the teeth align and how the jaw joint come together can create pain in the temporal mandibular joint, or TMJ. Joint pain can be alleviated in these types of cases by undergoing Invisalign treatment.

This patient spent his whole life with crooked and chipped teeth. When we asked his if he liked his teeth he said “No, but can I do anything about it?” We said absolutely! 7 months of Invisalign and 6 veneers we created with great smile for him.

Tooth In a Day

This patient came to us with a broken tooth that could not be restored. Using our advanced training and technology we were able to extract the tooth, place an implant, and restore the tooth with a crown all in the same day. No messy temps, no ill fitting dentures, and no missing teeth! The patient walked out of the office and went right to a meeting!

The patient was restored with a beautiful and natural set of full upper dentures and a lower partial to replace missing teeth. The upper denture was secured with dental implants to retain the denture while the patient was functioning.

CEREC Single Visit Crowns

On average, dental crowns last patients about ten years before they start to breakdown or form cavities underneath the crowns. This patient was unhappy with crowns that were placed years ago and wanted a brighter smile that did not show lines where the crowns met the natural tooth structure.

CEREC Crowns

Silver fillings are vulnerable to fracture when they are too large. This patient came to Tryon Family Dentistry thinking that his two back teeth would need to be pulled. With our CEREC technology, we were able to restore the fractured teeth, and in just one visit. No more multiple appointments with multiple injections, temporary crowns, or messy impressions. Our digital scans improve the accuracy of our in-office fabricated crowns and save our patients valuable time.

CEREC Onlay

Large amalgam silver fillings expand with temperatures. This creates forces that can cause cracking on natural teeth and weaken them. Due to this cracking the tooth was susceptible to fracture, with the use of our in-office CEREC machine the tooth was saved in one visit with a crown that actually strengthened the tooth.

Broken tooth? At Tryon Family Dentistry we are able to restore broken teeth in a single 1 hour visit. Through CEREC technology we can fix broken teeth in a single visit with a beautiful/strong ceramic restoration.

CEREC ONLAY​

This patient presented an amalgam filling that was breaking down and had a new cavity underneath it. After removal of the old filling and the decay, a large portion of the tooth was missing. To strengthen the tooth a ceramic CEREC Onlay was bonded to the tooth. This only took one visit with our top of the line technology.
